The Chinese Deserve No Merit

If you have been watching the Olympics as I have, you may or may not realize one thing. The Chinese and other Commie countries such as Russia and Cuba really don’t deserve any merit in the athletic abilities of their Olympians. I think Susan from Wake up America makes an excellent post about this. She clearly points out how the Chicoms bus in their cheer squads. You see, for them this is ALL politics. And that is precisely the reason I say that they deserve no merit.

You see, commies don’t create anything, (China is the exception, but quality and human rights have suffered as a consequence) so countries like Russia, Cuba, etc,,, essentially sequester potential Olympians from a very young age and train them exclusively for the Olympics. Whereas athletes in America and other sovereign countries have lives outside of competing, the athletes in communist countries don’t. Their entire existence is devoted to competing and once they are used up, they get tossed aside.

So keep this in mind when you see China winning A LOT of events, those athletes had probably been training 7 days a week 365 days a year since they found out the Olympics were going to be held in Beijing.

All is not lost though, we still have many wins ahead of us and Micheal Phelps has already succeeded in becoming the most decorated Olympian of all time.
