For the most part, I’m against most any new laws. Why? If you have to ask that, then you haven’t seen the garbage coming out of Washington the last 20 years. However, I think there is one law that should be added to the books and be federally mandated to include every town, city, and state.
I would forbid any politician to name any new building, road, or any other project in their name. Moreover, I would forbid them from naming any bills or laws in their own name as well.
I think this would curb their enthusiasm for spending more and will also serve to curb their outrageous egos. Does this make sense to anybody else? Honestly, sometimes I get the feeling they just want to see their names plastered everywhere for eternity.
So when can buildings and other things be named in their honor? When they are dead.
