Yes, the same can be said of Obama, which is partly why I want McCain to be president. But just because the dems feel like it's OK to put a newbie in office doesn't mean it's OK for us!!
I try to be scientific, rational. Obama says he will do things like reduce taxes, but the data (his voting records) doesn't support this.
The data on Palin says she'll support earmarks if they're popular. It says she'll impose loyalty tests. It says she'll try to ban books. We're America! Banning books in a public library is anti-freedom to me. People talk about integrity and values but whatever happened to intelligence? Isn't the combination of both why we picked McCain? Why is it suddenly that only one of them enough? Why did we lower our standards like the democrats did?
Palin says she can stand up to anything, but she can't stand up to Katie Couric in an interview without bumbling around. In contrast, Putin's a friggin scary guy, honestly McCain is probably the only politician who can put him in his place. I would be petrified if Palin needed to meet with Putin, especially in anything less than cordial terms. Call me sexist if you want, but she hasn't had a single dialogue which made me confident that she knew what she was talking about.
I really hate the term Maverick but I almost wish McCain could take it literally and go into the White House by himself.

Apparantly not. Palin would not abuse earmarks, McCain would be president anyway and has shown he won't abuse earmarks, yet Obama and Biden are the ones who would. In fact, McCain has an incredibly high tax payer friendly rating with the Citizens Against Government Abuse, while Obama and Biden are rated incredibly low. In fact, Biden, I believe, received a 0 rating for last year.
As far as banning books, it is not true.

The "banned books list" includes books that were published after 1996 (like Harry Potter).
The librarian, Mary Ellen Emmons (now Baker), was not fired [10] but instead resigned [4] in August 1999, two months before Palin was voted into her second term.
We ask Mr. Obama to denounce these smears and to remove them from his website immediately.
