Wow,
15 minutes later I am still in daze.
I come and go in this forum because I help run a climate skeptic forum and argue in a few more similar forums. But still despite not knowing her well.It is still a big surprise when someone passes away so young. So full of life in the threads. And now sudden quiet.
I can see that those who know her much better know what a special person she was here. Now by reading I get the impression that her presence here was impressive with her comments and humor. Now I know what I have been missing by not being here.
Rest in peace Sarah.

Wow indeed!
I too am very saddened to read about her passing. If there ever was a Houston gtg I was surely hoping to meet her.
May she RIP.

She was like a breath of fresh air.. You could bug her, and she would get you right back. I remember that I was threatening to ban her because her recipes were driving me crazy, they sounded so good. She turned around and posted more.
Sarah, you will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, sister.

I am late to this. Sorry to hear that a fellow Texan died so young. She made RO a great place. She struck RO like lightning of joy. She was made of lighting. I am sorry to hear that Sarah passed away. My condolences to her family and friends. How did she pass away?

I am ashamed that I missed this. I saw FC's pic in his signature and was horrified to hear what had happened.
I first met Sarah over at TMR and knew right off that she was a bolt of lightning packed in a barrell of fresh thoughts and energy.
She struck me as someone very intellegent for her age and quick witted. She seemed like a kind person with a big heart.
I gain peace knowing that the Creator has her now and that his peace is upon us left behind to remember Sarah as a person that loved people and who, in her short life, had more positive influence than many of us have had in our years that had doubled hers.
Rest In peace, you will always be a part of our lives

Here is what Sarah's cousin said after reading this thread (and the link in CP's post):
Quote:
I would like to thank you again for making the memorial thread. Both Sarah's father and husband would like to thank you as well. They were touched by the nice things people had to say about Sarah.
We also read the other thread with the racism jokes. That is typical Sarah all the way. She was always being humorous and trying to get people to laugh. She used to accuse me of working for the new world order because I'm a CPS social worker. haha One time we were at a pizzeria and I ordered pizza with pineapple on it, Sarah said real loud for everybody to hear that pineapple pizza is un-American and she was going to report everybody who eats it to Homeland Security. She had everyone laughing with that one.

TO, I have sent everything to Sarah's cousin, and she has acknowledged receipt, so if you want to, you can unsticky this thread. Unless people would rather leave it stickied.

If it's all right, I'd prefer to see it remain stickied, too.

I wish I would have known Sarah.
She sounded like a wonderful person from all of everyone's posts.

Yeah, she did. Viking kept threatening to ban her for posting mouth-watering recipes, and that would usually bring on another recipe or two.
