What's Your Pet Peeve??
Was just reading on another thread about having to press #3 if you speak English on a phone call. So that got me to thinking about pet peeves. What are some of yours? One that really, really, bugs me is getting a bill or check in the mail that you have to tear off at the perforated line......but the perforated line is about 1/16 " from the fold, grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

men who not only don't know how to put the dish towel back on the hook....but they just drop it where ever they are. And, they don't notice if they miss the counter and just drop it on the floor. Other than that nothing else so far this week. Oh wait, no. toilet seats being left up for us to close behind these guys....but then I have already ranted about that one.
And, my house is all girls except one guy!

People that insist on getting a pet and not researching about it or taking care of it properly.

I have plenty of pet peeves, but I'll list one for tonight and more another day.

Why should we as men have to put the toilet seat down. My pet peeve is when women leave it down. I think it should be left up, after all men use it just as much as women do.

Not true; it's a fact that women (as a general rule) need to use the bathroom more often than men. Whatcha do, you just put lid & all down (started doing that to keep the dog from drinking out of the toilet), then everybody has to lift something! But speaking of toilets, one of my pet peeves - men who are careless using the toilet, and us women have to clean up the pee that runs down the front (outside) of the bowl.

Yep, there is a lid on the toilet for a reason. As I have said before men, you don't haaave to put the seat down if you don't want to. I do think you should be considerate and put the lid down as the rest of us do though.
Yes of course, "if you sprinkle when you tinkle be a sweetie and wipe the seattie." K? So, there lies another problem...why are men sometimes too lazy to even lift the seat. Dribble on the seat...gross some of us have to sit when we use it ya know?
Okay, sorry I started this gross convo again.

When I refer to a group of girls as "you guys" and someone corrects me on the fact that they aren't "guys". Get over it. The term "guys" is a generic term now days to some of us. I know they aren't "guys" it's just a generic term some of us use.
Then again I don't get the term "get out of Dodge". I have never been in Dodge City I am not in Dodge City and probably never will be in Dodge City so that term doesn't mean anything to me. I just don't get that one.
I know the term "get out of town", I just don't get it when town is replaced with a town we aren't anywhere near.

We have two bathrooms. In the one that my wife uses, the toilet seat will not stay up.

Idiots who have their car stereos so loud that their bass shakes my house when they are 1/2 mile away ( I have been cautioned by the local constabulary to stop shooting at them, much to my chagrin)
edit
that was in jest, I haven't stopped .
