    Magnacalendar images: May

    I'm reposting April first, because it sets the stage for May.







    As always, JPEGing reduces the quality a bit.

    If you only could have seen the work and detail he put into those flowers - only to have much of it invisible at the normal size of the pic. But still, very good. Love that stalk of corn in the window box. We once had one growing in a gutter that was badly in need of being cleaned.

    Actually, the blue jay wasn't as difficult as I expected; it's not that large in terms of pixels. The main thing was the tedium for doing all the flowers. And I didn't know how to draw the whole plants for the most part. All I had were a few seed catalogs that focused on the blossoms.
