The problem is, a lot of people do these days. They can't think for themselves. What you end up with is a huge top down society. As for Megan Fox's "beauty", she's got the cute look, but not an overall hawtness look (that Milla Jovovich, Kate Beckingsale, and Angelina Jolie have).

A LOT of Americans have degenerated into a media directed mass of mindless morons. They put fashion over finances and are conditioned to assume whatever is coming out of Hollywood is good and pure for them.

What they don't understand is the fact that so much of what they're watching these days are just as mindless as they are, only they have more money and time to waste... and the media knows that they can package and sell these empty lives to a public that is willing to live vicariously through them.

I rarely watch it anyway. FC will be miffed because the season ending of NCIS was the first of two parts. But we get the weather from the internet, and that's about the only other thing we ever watched. Although he liked to watch the home improvement shows. My bil thinks we should keep working on it, which includes buying a new atenna, with no guarantee of a signal.
