Mark Levin had Neal Boortz on the other night and they were talking about this. Boortz said Boxer was involved in classifying weapons as assault weapons for the ban in 2004. He said she classified the weapons by thumbing through a gun calalogue and picking out the ones she thought looked the most dangerous.
I have looked on the internet and found several hits on this, but they all are repeating the same info with no valid source to substantiate it.
However, if this is the case, I don't believe this is someone who is working hard for the people. She solidly believes in gun control and banning assault weapons, but that is the best she could do. She didn't research or see them in person or attend an informational class, but merely thumbed through a catalogue to make a crucial decision.
She may not work hard for her constituents, even for causes she believes in, but hey, she worked hard for the title!click below

I just had to chuckle at this;
