Smokey the Bear Ad
Just noticed that, with their phony "only you can prevent forest fires" - while the greenies are allowed to put loggers out of business, and make forests more vulnerable to fires - fires not started by campfires or cigarettes.

Just an aside, it's Smokey Bear as some Forest Service folks like to remind me as soon as he's mentioned ;)

The Smokey "the" Bear ad campaign ran its course years ago. Of course, the greenies had to exhume him for his 65th.

They should call him "Zombie "the" Bear".

Smokey Bear has never faded here in the forest :P He's at all our parades and events, and we have a variety of fire prevention programs and events. He shows up at most of them. Let's not give him to the greenies, and he is very much not a zombie just because you city types haven't seen him in awhile :D

Didn't the native americans have some kind of method involving chopping down trees and burning them to PREVENT outrageous forest fires? Is it just a coincidence that most forest fires happen in California? I mean, this is just an assumption but they are the left of left so I doubt very much they allow loggers in there. Any connection you think?

Actually, they've had a few that have been out-and-out arson - and I think, by the greenies.
