Does anyone really think Christie has a chance?

The guy is losing to a unpopular governor.

    My prediction :

    Corzine : 42%
    Christie : 38%
    Daggett : 20%
Common sense tells us that the government's attempts to solve large problems more often create new ones. Common sense also tells us that a top-down, one-size-fits-all plan will not improve the workings of a nationwide health-care system that accounts for one-sixth of our economy. - Sarah Palin

    Common Sense.

I have no clue if Christie has a chance. A PPP poll preview shows Christie's attacks on Daggett are working which may be what he needs in these final days. And Corzine has motivated his base, Christie has enthusiasm behind him. It'll be close, I can tell you that. Just like my two races in Ohio: Issue 3 and Columbus City Council.

NJ Republican party always puts up liberals. Christie has no chance.

So, Christie is a liberal now? Why? for being Pro-Life and Anti-tax?

This guy is voting for Christie, BUT

Why I will (reluctantly) vote for Chris Christie.

    Author: Rory B. Bellows

I have been torn during this election cycle over my vote for Governor. Chris Christie has run an awful campaign. Chris Christie is an establishment liberal.

A Christie Governorship will do nothing to build a functioning Republican Party in New Jersey.

In short, he will be a lesser version of Christie Whitman, who at least had the good sense to listen to her advisors and base her 1993 campaign around a supply-side 30% in 3 year income tax cut.

Why won't one of the republicans just bow out so that the republicans can win?
ubama = usurper obama. It is closer to the proper Kenyan pronunciation, and since he isn't legitimately president, usurper is his title.

I'm very nervous about this election. According to Rasmussen today, Christie is up by 3% and support for the pro-choice Independent is down, but we've still got a week to go and Corzine is VERY well funded. You can bet he'll be pulling out the big guns.

But does Corzine have the ability to get his base out? Does his base care enough?

I don't know. With some of the anti-Christie ads I've been seeing, I'm afraid it's going to stir up enough Dem voters to squeeze Corzine through.

I'm praying for a Christie victory, I'm just not celebrating yet.
