Greetings everyone. First off I apologize for not being on here in a while. I was very busy towards the end of my contract in South Korea. I am back in the United States now and I see a lot has changed. Anyways, I am a man of the world so I hope to be back out in the world of international educator just as soon as possible. I will be getting my license while I'm at home which will give me more options. Here's a fun game to help me decide where to teach less (if applicable of course). What would be the country (besides America or other English speaking country) where you would love to live or visit? My ultimate goal has always been Italy. What do ya'll say?

If bond is set for a 48-year-old man facing murder charges in Newton County, it will require input from the victim’s family, and that might be difficult to achieve.
Jackie L. Campbell, 48, of Vendor, is charged with capital murder, abuse of a corpse and tampering with physical evidence, as well as committing a felony with a firearm, in the shooting death of 40-year-old Alice Lloyd in mid-June.
At a recent hearing, Campbell asked to have a bond set for him and to find out if the state plans to seek the death penalty at trial.

Not that a victim's family shouldn't be allowed any input, but why is it REQUIRED in order for the judge to place bond?
(And if you read the comments, you'll see that the victim's family members are ready, willing, and able to give 'input'. Something odd is going on here.)

This is a true story and the author,
Rick Mathes, is a well-known leader in prison ministry.

The man who walks with God always gets to his destination.
If you have a pulse you have a purpose.

The Muslim religion is the fastest growing religion per capita in the United States , especially in the
minority races!! Last month I attended my annual training session that's required for maintaining my state prison security clearance.

During the training session there was a presentation by three speakers representing the Roman Catholic,
Protestant and Muslim faiths, who explained each of their beliefs.

I was particularly interested in what the Islamic had to say. The Muslim gave a great presentation of the
basics of Islam, complete with a video. After the presentations, time was provided for questions and answers. When it was my turn, I directed my question to the Muslim and asked: 'Please, correct me if
I'm wrong, but I understand that most Imams and clerics of Islam have declared a holy jihad [Holy war] against the infidels of the world and, that by killing an infidel, (which is a command to all Muslims)
they are assured of a place in heaven. If that's the case, can you give me the definition of an infidel?'

There was no disagreement with my statements and, without hesitation, he replied, 'Non-believers!'

I responded, 'So, let me make sure I have this straight. All followers of Allah have been commanded to
kill everyone who is not of your faith so they can have a place in heaven. Is that correct?'

The expression on his face changed from one of authority and command to that of a little boy who had
just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.'

He sheepishly replied, 'Yes.' I then stated, 'Well, sir, I have a real problem trying to imagine Pope John Paul commanding all Catholics to kill those of your faith or Dr. Stanley ordering all Protestants
to do the same in order to guarantee them a place in heaven!'

The Muslim was speechless!

I continued, 'I also have a problem with being your friend when you and your brother clerics are telling
your followers to kill me! Let me ask you a question: Would you rather
have your Allah, who tells you to kill me in order for you to go to heaven, or my Jesus who tells me to love you because I am going to heaven and He wants you to be there with me?'

You could have heard a pin drop as the Imam hung his head in shame. Needless to say, the organizers and/or promoters of the 'Diversification' training seminar were not happy with my way of dealing with the Islamic Imam, and exposing the truth about the Muslims' beliefs.

In twenty years there will be enough Muslim voters in the U.S. to elect the President!

I think everyone in the U.S. should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is no way this will
be widely publicized, unless each of us send it on! This is your chance to make a difference...

FOR CHRIST'S SAKE! SEND THIS ON . .

Gene detectives on Sunday announced they had found the first inherited link to common types of migraine, a finding that boosts hopes for new drugs to curb this painful and costly disorder.

Scientists from 40 medical centres pored over the genetic profiles of more than 50,000 people, comparing those who suffered badly from migraines with others who were otherwise healthy. What came up in the net was a tiny but telltale variant of DNA that boosts the risk of getting migraines by around fifth.
Can anyone direct me to a good site? Louisianna would be best, but other states around the gulf are okay, too.

Remember when the nation and the world was told ethanol would help the use of gas more efficiently?Remember how last year the ethanol manufacturers wanted it to be increased from 10% to 15% in the gasoline blend because they were not making the money they thought they would?

Did you see where the planting of more corn to produce ethanol actually ended up costing other uses of corn to go up? There was a story about how in other countries forests were being stripped back so that corn could b planted for the use of ethanol.

The car manufactures pointed out that the increase of ethanol would harm the engine. Others pointed out that more gas would have to be bought because ethanol decreases the power and more gas would have to be purchased in order to go the same distance without ethanol.

So what has this all in common?

Well it all is aimed at alternative fuels to help the environment.

What it has done is increase the cost to consumers and enrich the government and does nothing for the environment.

Don't newspapers help the general public with classified ads anymore?
How many times have you seen an item listed for sale, but no price?
OR, no contact number?
I can't TELL you how much money some must've spent advertising their yard sales; complete with days/times/many items listed. Problem? No address nor phone #.
Okay, I guess that'll happen. But what about (supposedly) professional ads? Such as the one I just read:

"Urgent Care Center! Walk-In Clinic! "Turning big deals into little deals...fast."
Great line, right? Even states the hours they're open. What's missing?
THE ADDRESS!

A group of Chilean miners trapped for 17 days deep inside a collapsed mine are alive, the Chilean president, Sebastián Piñera, said tonight – but it will take at least four months to set them free.
A rescue probe that drilled down 2,257 feet (688 metres) to the bottom of the San Jose mine made contact with the miners, who sent back a message reading: "All 33 of us are well inside the shelter."
"Never have so few words brought such happiness to an entire nation," said Piñera as he read out the handwritten note.

Congressional
Reform Act of 2010

1. Term Limits.

12 years only, one of the possible options
below..

A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year
House terms

2. No Tenure / No Pension.

A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

3. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people.

4. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan,
just as all Americans do.

5. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay
raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

6. Congress loses their current health care system
and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

7. Congress must equally abide by all laws
they impose on the American people.

8. All contracts with past and present Congressmen
are void effective 1/1/11.

The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen
legislators, serve your term(s), then go home and back to work.
