Joseph Stalin Adolf Hitler Mao Zedong Pol Pot Saddam Hussein Mullamar Omar Nero Omar Al-Bashir Caligula Idi Amin Osama bin Laden 9/11 Hijackers Elizabeth Bathory Jim Jones Now you wonder why some like Vlad the Impaler, Tamerlane, or Attila the Hun are not on the list. Granted they were cruel and evil, but are regarded as heroes in their respective nations; Vlad Tepes (Romania), Tamerlane (Central Asia), and Attila the Hun (Hungary).

I'd have to add Mohammad. When I think about going back in time and killing evil men, I think his death (in a more timely manner) would have had a more profound impact than many mentioned in this thread (although partly because he lived so long ago).

Franois Duvalier
This physician and voodoo practitioner was first elected to the presidency of Haiti in 1957. Commonly known as "Papa Doc," Duvalier took the liberty of rewriting his country's constitution, then won the 1961 election in what was presented as a completely unanimous victory: 1.32 million votes for, 0 against. Even as Duvalier reduced the size of the army, he built himself a machete-wielding secret police known as the Tonton Macoutes. As they weren't paid, the Tonton Macoutes were given clearance to extort citizens for their livelihood. In 1964, Duvalier declared himself president for life, and claimed responsibility for the death of John F. Kennedy via a voodoo curse that he had placed on him. Whether or not JFK counted amongst them, it is known that upwards of 30,000 people were killed under Papa Doc's rule. Duvalier's son succeeded him after his 1971 death. I can't believe he cast a voodoo curse on JFK...what a crock.
