Whatever happened to Ahmadenijad being willing to sit down with Barack Obama? If I could invest in the media's distortion as a stock, I'd be rich by now.

I think it was the other way around; Obama willing to sit down with Ahmedinijihad.

I know it's been that way. But you can't sit down with a tyrant unless they choose to sit down with you.

In all seriousness, I think there's a huge advantage on Ahmad or any other tyrant's part to be diplomatic with Obama. We're talking about someone without foreign experience but shares a Socialist agenda. For one, it would easily legitimize them before the rest of the U.N., and secondly it would keep the American gov't off his back for a while... perhaps for nuclear preparation

Only fake Americans voted for Bamie..
Real Americans knew Obama to be an antiamerican traitor early on.
That reveals much about the state of decay our nation is in.
We can thank the socialist public education system for that.
Obama bought the presidency with foriegn money and outright false promises.
He got 70% of the young umarried female vote.
He got over 90 % of the black vote.
He got 100% of the "white guilt" vote.
He got most of the socialist vote .
In short he got the OVERWHELMING sum of the idiot vote!!!
Thanks America for voting in deceit, disaster and empty promises.
Those that voted in the fraud should get EXACTLY what they deserve!--TZS

Yes, I did not list those on my previous list.--
Lets never forget those fake conservatives that voted bamie.
Nor the ones eagerly flinging themselves on him now!-TZS

Obama, Obama, and Obama. His foreign policy is way out of touch. I understand trying to use diplomatic ways as a plan A, but I believe he'd use diplomatic ways as plan B to plan D aswell. Let's all think real hard. Iranian president has expressed that he hates America, hopes we collapse, and also, want's to wipe Isreal off the map. Now, he congratulates Obama on his presidency, and hopes he serves the American people very well. Sounds kind of wierd to me, very strange. Are they going to test his strength? or maybe, just maybe, thing's could be sought out with just a conversation and a cup of coffee.

As Bush once said, you can't negociate with these kind of people, because you won't get to far. It's a touchy situation.
