I like Honduras now. At least they have the cajones to stick to their constitution.

Just so everyone is clear, Roberto Micheletti's government is temporary until elections can take place for a new president. This is no more a coup than Nixon resigning or Andrew Johnson being impeached.
Lord, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of those I had to kill because they pissed me off.

    Unified theory of Government.

Looters seize from producers and give to moochers who then vote for looters.

The biggest part of the issue seems to be the fact that a South American country has come out fighting for what they know to be justice. This has to scare the pants off the tin-pot dictators that have come to power in their region.

    Remember kids, revolution is contagious!

Does Honduras have any oil, or some resource more valuable than anything in Iran?

The american president has called the ouster of the leftist zelaya not legal. well duh. I reckon so. Hondurans have turned back the venezuelan plane carrying zelaya back to honduras. Ortega of nicaraugua and chavez of venezuela are zelaya's buddies. And Obama sides with them in their desire to reseat Zelaya.

The military, judiciary and Honduran congress removed the country’s president because he was attempting to illegally extend his tenure in office. Latin American Marxists Raul Castro, Daniel Ortega and Hugo Chavez rallied around ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya in Managua this week.
    So did Barack Obama.

Thanks to Barack Obama, today Former President Manuel Zelaya attempted to return to Honduras.
But, the pro-government military refused to allow Zelaya to land at the main Honduras airport. Zelaya instead landed in Nicaragua on his way to El Salvador, and vowed to try again Monday or Tuesday.

The Salesian Cardinal Oscar Rodriguez of Honduras is speaking out on the political situation there. He told the exiled President Manuel Zelaya to stay away!

Marxist Hugo Chavez says that, "Obama is a prisoner of the Empire," and that he needs to speak out loudly on the matter.

Pro-government supporters also held massive rallies this week. The protesters carried signs against CNN- the "Communist News Network." (El Heraldo)
