Jewish Conservative, as you highlighted above, there are some provisions of the PATRIOT Act I support. I fully support the provisions of it that allow us to monitor and catch terrorists in our country. I was a Counterintelligence Agent for the Army, I understand how important those provisions are. However, there are provisions in it that could affect the 4th Amendment rights of citizens I would like to see eliminated. However, if given the choice of having the Patriot Act in its current form or not having it at all, I would choose to keep it in place. I think we could trim it down some, but I think the provisions to help us catch terrorists are needed.

Well, your still conservative, so I'd have to support you.
Common sense tells us that the government's attempts to solve large problems more often create new ones. Common sense also tells us that a top-down, one-size-fits-all plan will not improve the workings of a nationwide health-care system that accounts for one-sixth of our economy. - Sarah Palin

    Common Sense.
