Watch around the 7 minutes mark. After stating Letterman invited the Palin family to be on the show and reading the Palin response to Letterman, Lauer actually tells Palin her comment about being wise to keep Willow away from Letterman was made in bad taste.

Who does Lauer think he is? Whatevery Letterman's intentions were, or whatever he meant or didn't mean, the fact remains he made comments about Palin's daughter being "knocked up by Alex Rodriguez" after 14 year old Willow was the daughter accompanying the governor to the game.

Now, Willow, being a 14 year old and possibly hearing this commentary, probably would not want to be around Letterman and rightfully so. Any parent in their right mind would not want their child around Letterman under these circumstances.

I certainly would not and I would not appreciate someone like Lauer, or anyone telling me it is in bad taste to say I wouldn't want my child around the man who insulted her on national television.

Yeah, I still can't get over it. Who is Lauer to question Palin's parenting and who she wants to let her kids around or not allow them to be around. I am sure Willow heard the news reports, her friends told her what they heard, and her parents spoke with her. In this 14 year old's mind, a man told a cruel joke about her, therefore, he is the last person she should be around. It's very common sensical, yet, this idiot Matt Lauer has the audacity to critique and question what Palin does with her own child.

Wow, you know she really does have a good head on her shoulders. She sounded ready to answer anything Matt had to dish out. And I just gotta say, it's amazing to see all the BS that's spewed out from the MSM about this girl and then hear her side of the story.
