Its been a tough year for alot of people in this economy and I was unable to purchase my family a second plasma flat screen so we could watch MSNBC and the great Keith Olbermann in two rooms at once. What has this country come to if a man and his family cannot have such basic things? Please help.

Exactly which failed policies did Obama vote in favor of? Can you name them for reference? And how could he have voted for every one over the last eight years when he wasn't a Senator for all those eight years?

Or should we just trust that blanket statement is true because a radio entertainer says so?

First off, just because Rush Limbaugh is on the radio doesn't diminish his insight and contribution to the field of politics. In many cases, Rush has been the first to reveal what the mainstream news media has either missed or avoided. Most recently, he and Drudge revealed that some of the hidden pork in the so-called stimulus bill will be for national healthcare with the government being able to approve or deny care or coverage. Rush is an entertainer, but he is also an astute political commentator.

Secondly, although Obama wasn't in the senate for eight years, he voted to continue funding the war in Iraq which he allegedly opposes, as well as supporting the bills and policies of his liberal buddies in the senate that pre-dated him. The dems came up with the term "failed policies of the last eight years" which is really just a slam at G.W. Bush. In fact, for the vast majority of the last eight years, the economy was booming, yet with the advent of a minor recession and a financial crisis of their own making, the dems jumped on it and screamed that it was as bad as the great depression. Unfortunately, many Americans bought the smoke and mirrors of the travelling Obama road show and jumped aboard the express train to Nutsville.
