    Terrorism at Home

Hot Air Blog Archive Mexican drug cartels make Phoenix #2 in world for kidnappings

This article just brought this to top of mind, not necassarily introduced this issue to me. In fact, living in Texas, its close to home.

This is absurd. According to the article, there are more abductions in Phoenix Arizona per year than there are days in the year. How in the world can we not do something to stop this? And now we're seeing land owners sued for holding criminals at gunpoint and turning them over to the proper authorities on their own land?

We need a wall. A big one. One that was already approved by Congress in 2005. You want stimulus? Real stimulus that creates jobs? The damn thing wouldn't build its self....at least it hasn't for the last 4 years, anyhow.

As long as American citizens are at risk of attack from foreign nationals, our government is falling down on the job.

Mexico is a mess and on the verge of collapse. The annual something-something report from the defense depatment put the probablility of a governmental collapse the same risk as Pakistan.

I think the history of Mexico has been a series of minor buildups and collapses.

They are also overcrowding our prisons. Where I work there are tons of them, and many cant speak english. They are usually in for rape, and such. We are letting people into this country who dont have values, and have no respect for human life at all. Its gonna spread north, so you folks better prepare yourself for home invasions, and street thugs.
    Back for awhile....
