I've crossed the border eight times total. I was delayed on two, and only one was a stupid waste of time.

That's about average....from late 2003 till about mid 2006, I was crossing 6-7 times a month......I was inspected twice going each way....Canada Customs checked me twice....Once because my name was similar to someone on their list, the other time I parked where they told me and got out of my truck, opened all 4 doors, and flipped up the back seat, then stood on the curb. When the inspector came out, she saw my truck all opened up, handed me my ID and said....you can go.....
