Just what we need when we're trying to get the Republican Party back on track. We don't need more governors or congressman screwing up like this when we're trying to protect the image of the Party. We are currently having enough problems trying to decide between a cheating congressman and a porn star. With crap going on like this it only feeds the leeches on the other side of the political ticket. I'm sure they're having a ball trying to figure out what to say about Sanford, when the ripping starts. It won't be pretty, and of all the days he did it but on Father's Day.

He is one of the better conservatives that was a presidential hopeful. I was looking forward to seeing his campaign and supporting it.

My, the trouble South Carolina gets us into! Why, it seems like only yesterday and they was shooting at Fort Sumter! Now some knucklehead SAYS he is hiking the Appalachian Trail, but is really in ARGENTINA!
Lets look at the reasoning (or lack thereof) involved here:
    1) YOU GOTTA USE YO'PASSPORT TO GO TO ARGENTINA!
    2) THEY STAMP YO' PASSPORT!
2b) YO' WIFE READS YO' PASSPORT!
    3) FOLKS LOOK LIKE THEY BEEN HIKING THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL (sunburnt, footsore, tired) IF THEY HAVE BEEN HIKING THE APPALACHIAN TRAIL! (I know Argentina is rugged and all, but you got to have a BANG UP TIME to get the same effect.Of course, the BANG UP PART is why he is in the DOGHOUSE!)
Personally,as a FELLOW SOUTHERN-FRIED POLITICIAN, I think maybe we ought to see if'n we can't get THIS MASTER-MIND to defect to the DEMOCRATS,TOO!!!

    I is FLUMMOXED and BAMBOOZLED!

He's a dirty little stop out, as they used to say in Yorkshire. He needs to leave office TODAY. Thank you.

He was a 'doubter' in regards to the Chosen One, 'The New Messiah'. Which makes one wonder about the whole deal.
He does seem like a scumbag as a father and husband.

Totally. If you want to play around, stay single. Those poor boys are now humiliated as their father hangs out his dirty laundry for the whole world to see. I understand marriages can break down, but there is a right way and a wrong way to handle it. this idiot is so immature, it's pretty obvious he has no right to be in a position of authority. He needs to step aside immediately.

Ok, kind-of a conspiracy thing here....what could he 'actually' have been doing that would make him prefer to say he was cheating on his wife and writing ridiculous love letters?
Just running that up the pole to see who salutes...

while he is playing with his zipper, we still have a financial crisis going on.....
We have more important things to worry about. His apology means nothing....
