In addition, you have Democrats calling us racist for using the word "socialist".

You have Obama stacking town halls to avoid unpleasant questions.

Democrats accuse the right of starting false rumors, when all we're doing is trying to understand and state what is in their legislation.

You know, I'm talking in PMs with you rather than hashing it out in public, and this crap continued?

Your entry into this thread was "Talk about brainwashed..." to BR. Consider what qix told you. That's what I think of you too.

You initiated contact with him in this thread, not him. Your contact consisted of "Talk about brainwashed...." which does not address his arguments at all. It is trolling if anything is.

Since this occurred after your reporting BR as a troll. You and your intellectual superiority complex and your martyr delusion can take a few days off. If you still have a problem with this site, the members of this site or me afterward, don't come back. You're concerned about trolling and flaming -- stop contributing to it. Clear?

Specter had this to say yesterday:

WASHINGTON - A veteran U.S. senator said Wednesday he thinks people who have been angrily disrupting public meetings on overhauling the health care system are "not necessarily representative of America," but should be heard.

"It's more than health care," said Pennsylvania Sen. Arlen Specter, 79, who earlier this year left the Republican Party and became a Democrat. "I think there is a mood in America of anger with so many people unemployed, with so much bickering in Washington ... with the fear of losing their health care. It all boils over."
Not representative of America? What the hell does Specter know about representation? He's the last guy who should have a voice in this debacle.

Specter is representative of himself only, a sorry excuse of a U.S. Senator.

Specter and the rest of the Democrats need to remove their heads from their respective seat cushions.

Nearly half of those surveyed -- 49% -- said they disapproved of Obama's "handling of healthcare policy." And 43% told Gallup's interviewers that they approved.
    -LA Times

    Here's the story from Gallup:
Amid Debate, Obama Approval Rating on Healthcare Steady

When the question was couched differently, there's still a large disapproval of the current bill.
Constituents Divided, Highly Partisan on Healthcare Reform

Rassmussen numbers are a bit stronger, even if the questions are somewhat different. A clear majority (57%) disapprove of a single payer system (which HR 3200 will lead to):
32% Favor Single-Payer Health Care, 57% Oppose - Rasmussen Reports

Rassmussen says that people fear the government more than health insurance companies, too:
On Health Care, 51% Fear Government More Than Insurance Companies - Rasmussen Reports

So, Mr. Specter is proving to be part of the problem with Congress in that they are the ones lying and misleading people about the town hall meetings and about the legislation.

I personally am not surprised, knowing that AARP has extremely liberal tendencies.
