Democrats brought out tens of thousands of American flags to Invesco Field, saluting Barack Obama as he spoke from the Styrofoam columns of the Barackopolis at the conclusion of the Democratic convention. Perhaps some of them took the flags home as souvenirs, but where did the rest go? According to David Harsanyi, they went into the trash — and would have gone to a landfill, except for a worker at Invesco who rescued them from the dumpsters:

I love this story though. It's so great how "Red, White and Blue" their convention was. They looked sooooo patriotic.
Too bad they don't actually know the rules regarding proper care and disposal of our flag. Too bad they didn't care enough about their fab time at their convention to keep more of those flags as souveniers. Too bad they weren't at the very least interested in taking care of mother earth by recycling said flags.

The correct view of our flag would be one that understands what she represents. A nation that is good and free. A nation that says you have the right to "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness". Your right and your responsibility.

This will be my last post considering i got banned for no reason, but the proof is the last 8 years of republican control, its pretty solid truth to me and the fact that McCain voted against more funding to Veterans programs, people who really needed it considering that thier suicidal rate is ridiculous..
