    It’s On: Palin vs Judd

Sarah Palin has hit back at actress Ashley Judd for her criticisms of the effort to pare back the Alaskan wolf population for the protection of caribou. Scoffing at advice from “far east coast politicians,” Palin reminded Judd and her Defense of Wildlife Action Fund that Alaskans relied on healthy caribou populations for food — especially in economically trying times. She also accused Judd of manufacturing outrage to stoke donations to her group:

Not only is Judd protecting only selected wildlife, instead of wildlife in general, but it is pretty ironic she is so up in arms over the Alaskan wolves being shot, yet, she is pro-abortion.

It's wrong to kill a wolf, but alright to kill a baby human?

Yeah, I read this yesterday somewhere. Judd has no idea how the aerial wolf hunting even works. She thinks anyone can just go up in the air and "hunt" wolves. Um, NO.

You have to have special permission from the gov't and there are regulations.

Seriously, you Hollywood blowhards should stick to your mediocre acting.

Sadly, I've read some comments regarding the story and liberals are pretty set in their anti-Palin ways. Never mind the facts.

Liberals don't have a problem with unborn children being murdered but cry foul over wolves being shot.

I'd love to do aerial hunting of liberals as well as the wolves.

Liberals are also really stupid when it comes to the Bible since God gave us dominance over all creatures on this earth.

Well, it's very apparent the Hollywood left has declared war on Gov. Palin because she is so popular with conservatives.

My wife, who is normally level headed and conservative, had to be corrected (by me) because she was listening to too much "music radio" who are promoting lies about Palin. .

Judd's advertisement was exceedingly stupid. She was making a political message, wrapped in some animal rights baloney.

I can't believe anyone even cares what Judd says. She is an airhead and a horrible actress to boot. It must just be the liberal media that seems to grasp at anything that is negative about Palin.

Just another example of someone of "influence" being given half the story and put in front of the camera. We keep killing record numbers of deer in Ohio with our cars because they won't raise the limit or extend the season. Our capital is surrounded by forest and hill that are infested by more tree huggers than animals.

Oh, boy, do I know where you're coming from! I live in Western PA, and although we do a little better by the hunters, the hunting license fees are getting so high that it's getting to be a rich man's sport. And we've had people write letters to the paper with the stupid statement that "there can't be very many deer left, because so many are getting hit on the road." I've hit 3 deer, and my son hit one with my vehicle, and I had one hit me. That last one, I was driving along the road at night and saw a deer standing beside the road. It was too late to take any kind of evasive action, so I just hoped and prayed that it would run out in front of me. It didn't - it waited until my headlights were past and ran into the passenger door. No serious damage, but it knocked off my side mirror.

When we upped the limit on does, some idiot wrote to the paper saying that the last time we did that, we practically wiped out the deer population. It's true that at one time the deer population was relatively low - but I have no idea what the cause was - so we imported deer from Michigan.

Edit: Oh, yes, and my son (FC) nearly hit a deer while riding his bicycle, I think on more than one occasion, and he had one nudge the back of his motor scooter once (or maybe it was his motorcycle).
