Obama`s Campaign tries to silence talk radio show!
Here is an example of the Democrat Party’s game plan ….shut down talk radio which questions the leadership of the Democrat Party!
Obama Campaign Tries to Shut Down Chicago Radio Show
August 28, 2008
By Warner Todd Huston
Quote:
Members of Barack Obama’s campaign HQ in Chicago tried to shut down a local radio show on the City’s most powerful radio signal, WGN 720, because they didn’t like a conservative guest that was on going on the air to discuss Senator Barack Obama’s ties to local terrorist William Ayers. This is a shocking attempt at stifling political free speech and a bald attempt to quash debate by the office of the Democratic Party’s nominee
Cut--------------
So, for the Obama campaign to act as if this particular show is an affront to reasoned debate is an outrageous charge. Just as outrageous is the Obama campaign’s obvious desire to destroy free political speech. It makes one quake to wonder what sort of oppressive climate an Obama presidency would impose on the country?
|
Hey Obama, when was the last time your read our Constitution which prohibits your attempt to silence political speech?
Congress shall make no law ... abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
I can’t believe that so many hard working Americans would fall for Obama, who in fact is a domestic enemy of our constitutionally limited system of government!
JWK
If we can make 51 percent of America’s population dependent upon a federal government check, we can then bribe them for their vote, keep ourselves in power and keep the remaining portion of America’s population enslaved to pay the bills ____ our Marxist Democrat Party’s game plan, a plan to establish a federal plantation.

Sad to say that so many believe it is a non-story when Obama’s campaign tries to shut down a radio talk show discussing Obama’s various connections to a unrepentant terrorist William Ayers
There may be some agreement that it is not a big story that Ayers and his wife hosted meetings in their home to introduce Obama to neighbors during Obama’s first run for the Illinois Senate. But I would say it is a very big story when the Obama Campaign engages in a Gangland Assault on Free Speech
Why has the big media not covered this story?

Hey Joe Biden, how do you feel about your running mate trying to shut down a talk radio show? Do you approve of such strong arm tactics?

Its not that it was a non story, its that we dont have any more to add. We've had the Fairness doctrine threads in the past. This is just another step by the wanna be President.

The scary thing about this whole thing is, if it wasn't for the internet and talk radio, hardly anyone would know anything about Obama's attack on political speech! You can bet your bottom dollar if Obama ever gets elected he will use the IRS, the Department of Justice, and any other government tool at his disposal to attack every media source and every individual, which exposes his doings, and would especially attack conservative talk show hosts such as Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Laura Ingraham, Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Michelle Malkin, Bill Bennet, Mark Levin, Chuck Baldwin and others.
This attack on political speech by Obama, as opposed to Obama’s connections to William Ayers, is the big story and needs to be front page news across the country. Do we really want this kind of person as the leader of the free world? We are being attacked from within …. wake up America, do not allow these kinds of scoundrels to seize control over your government!
Why hasn't the big media covered this story?

Obama's latest attack on [WGN] political speech!
Here is the e-mail Obama sent to supporters attempting to have WGN cancel Kurtz appearing on the show.
Quote:
August 28, 2008
In the next few hours, we have a crucial opportunity to fight one of the most cynical and offensive smears ever launched against Barack.
Tonight, WGN radio is giving right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist smears. He's currently scheduled to spend a solid two-hour block from 9:00 to 11:00 p.m. pushing lies, distortions, and manipulations about Barack and University of Illinois professor William Ayers.
Tell WGN that by providing Kurtz with airtime, they are legitimizing baseless attacks from a smear-merchant and lowering the standards of political discourse.
Call into the "Extension 720" show with Milt Rosenberg at (312) 591-7200
(Show airs from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. tonight)
Then report back on your call at Barack Obama | Change We Can Believe In | Obama Action Wire
Kurtz has been using his absurd TV appearances in an awkward and dishonest attempt to play the terrorism card. His current ploy is to embellish the relationship between Barack and Ayers.
Just last night on Fox News, Kurtz drastically exaggerated Barack's connection with Ayers by claiming Ayers had recruited Barack to the board of the Annenberg Challenge. That is completely false and has been disproved in numerous press accounts.
It is absolutely unacceptable that WGN would give a slimy character assassin like Kurtz time for his divisive, destructive ranting on our public airwaves. At the very least, they should offer sane, honest rebuttal to every one of Kurtz's lies.
Kurtz is scheduled to appear from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. in the Chicago market.
Calling will only take a minute, and it will make a huge difference if we nip this smear in the bud. Confront Kurtz tonight before this goes any further:
Barack Obama | Change We Can Believe In | Obama Action Wire
Please forward this email to everyone you know who can make a call tonight.
Keep fighting the good fight,
Obama Action Wire
|
In fact, the station did offer Obama or a surrogate an opportunity to appear on the show to back up the smearing of Kurtz engaged in by Obama in the email he sent out. But just as Obama avoids going head to head with McCain in town hall meetings, or appear on the Bill O’Reilly show or Sean Hannity’s show, Obama chickens out when his request was agreed to by WGN.
Seems to me that Obama is great at making accusations, calling other people names, engaging in character assassinations, and other adolescent name calling conduct, but when given the opportunity to back up his claims, he runs and hides and changes the subject.
As I have correctly stated, the scary thing about this whole thing is, if it wasn't for the internet and talk radio, hardly anyone would know anything about Obama's attack on political speech!
This attack on political speech by Obama, as opposed to Obama’s connections to William Ayers, is the real story and needs to be front page news across the country.
Do we really want this kind of person as the leader of the free world? We are being attacked from within …. Wake up America. Do not allow these kinds of scoundrels to seize control over your government!
Why has the big media not reported Obama’s latest attempt to silence those who work to expose the real Obama?
JWK

LA Times corruption
What’s up with the LA Times? It seems bloggers are wasting their time posting comments on their site. That’s right the LA Times is currupt, the LA Times has gone so far to the left that they will not even let your post hit their comments section if it doesn’t agree with their point of view. Recently, I have tried numerous times to rebuke leftist views in sensible tones, no trash talk or swear words, yet the moderators of their comments section disallowed my views to be posted.
In a recent article that was written by Carolyn Russell, I questioned her lack of objectivity, and because the comment was discrediting to her concept of fair practices in journalism, she rejected my post. Likewise, in another blog, written and moderated by Kate Linthicum, concerning the Campbell Brown and Tucker Bounds interview I again tried to post my point of view to no avail. If you are from the conservative side of the ticket don’t waste your time buying a LA Times Newspaper, it’s nothing more than a biased rag that reflects the opinions of west coast liberals.
This lack of objectivity is a direct representation of the LA Times and the quality of the news they report. Newspapers such as those cannot be trusted as an important and reliable source of news. The first amendment was not put into play so that the news could be skewed to represent the political affiliations of the writers that are on staff. Apparently, the LA Times doesn’t feel they need to play by the rules, and is a direct reflection of the credibility of its news.

Why don't you start a thread about the LA times rather than posting the same thing in every thread?

Intimidation Tactics?
The Obama campaign had its supporters confront WGN Radio in Chicago last week for having a critic of the Democratic presidential nominee on its air.
The Chicago Tribune reports Obama supporters besieged the station with thousands of phone calls and e-mails in an effort to force the cancellation of an interview with columnist Stanley Kurtz. The campaign e-mailed supporters saying: "WGN Radio is giving right-wing hatchet man Stanley Kurtz a forum to air his baseless, fear-mongering terrorist fears... pushing lies, distortions and manipulations about Barack and University of Illinois professor William Ayers."
A producer at WGN Radio said, "I got the feeling they were trying to intimidate us." It didn't work. The interview aired.
Kurtz — a Harvard PhD who is now a fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford — has written for The Wall Street Journal and The Weekly Standard. A recent article he wrote for The National Review drew the ire of the Obama campaign because it examined Obama's ties to Ayers, a 1960s and '70s terrorist leader whose followers — among other things — tried to blow up the U.S. Capitol.

This attack on political speech by Obama, as distinguished from Obama’s connections to Bill the-bomb-maker Ayers, is a very big story and needs to be front page news across the country.
I’m hoping Sean Hannity or Bill O’Reilly does a segment on Obama’s attempt to silence talk radio!

JWK
