yes, i believe there is
You do more jail time for MARIJUANA THAN RAPING AN INNOCENT PERSON
do you think there's something wrong with that?
I can understand Crack cocaine and heroine, drugs that are killing people
BUT POT? You can't overdose on pot or get hep c.
I am a firm believer of doing the crime and paying the time, but why harsh and unusual punishment for petty crimes?
There should be greater things to be worrying about people who posess pot. LOok at Colorado, they decriminalized it. They've had a dramatic decrease in criminal matters dealing with marijuana.

So hold the judges more accountable for sending rapists to prison for such short terms. Like it or not marijuana use does cause severe lack of judgement and people do and have ended up raping because of it's use.
Do not lower the sentence of one crime because something worse has a lower sentence. Increase the sentence for the worse crime.
Co. had a dramatic decrease in crime because they decriminalized pot? Prove it. Prove that it was because they decriminalized pot.
I know of a city, you may know of it. New York. They didn't decriminalize pot. They seemed to have made headlines when they saw a sudden drop in crime. I think their Mayor even ended up trying to run for President partly due to his fame that he got from his work against crime in New York. Nothing to do with decriminalizing pot.
Smoke it all you want I truly do not care. As for people I know and do care about? i have seen far too many lives destroyed over the "harmless" stuff.

Back to the topic of this thread.
Bamma and his associates love the fact that some people believe that drugs should be made legal. It would give them an even stronger and legal way to destroy more lives so that they can have more control. It would also allow some of bamma's associates to be able to do what they want without being punished....mob friends?

Kwame is typical. He is just another example of what happens when power and ignorance gain a foothold. Old Nagin in New Orleans is another clown who is clueless, can't form a cogent sentence, and uses street talk to express himself. Now neither of these idiots can match Mayor for Life Marion Barry and his exploits. I live south of DC and watching MFL Barry was a hoot. Smoking Crack, a compromised whore turning states evidence on him, stolen money, schools literally collapsing, a drop out rate over 60%, the murder rate over 600 per year, gang violence more common than drunks panhandling for change, homeless everywhere, and MFL sez: "the bitch sets me up." Nice! He does a short stint in a vacation prison, communes with Jesse Jackass and all is forgiven - he is re-elected councilman. The Mayor thinks paying taxes is for white people - he remains in office despite numerous tax issues... they dropped them. Not because he is innocent - because lawmakers on capital hill are afraid of what may happen. That racist label is very heavy. So don't go thinking that Kwame is done. I suspect he will be back in a new capacity within the dem party. And speaking of Kwame - did you notice how the dems show their commitment to race relations in MD? Kuwese Infume (PeeWee Gray - in street lingo - his real name) ran as a dem in MD against another balck candidate Mike Steele - the frmr Lt Gov. The dems threw their support behind Ben Cardin a local white nobody to torpedo Kuwese' candidacy - Stelle's too! Barry Obama came to MD to tell dems to NOT vote for the black republican. Now here we see the man who tells us he represents a change and hopes for a better day - ensuring that neither black candidate in MD gets elected - Kuwese and Steele were old associates, political opponents but friends. Both will tell you as they have others what they think of Barry - -
