So "classic liberal" is "A person with liberal ideas Of a well-known type".

    See how I did that???

I would have drawn arrows but my granddaughter has the crayons.

Oh my god, Bucks. You really haven't the slightest as to what I'm taking about, do you.

Here you go: Classical liberalism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Basic tenants of Classical Liberalism and all that it took was a trip to Wikipedia.

Yes they did see religion as a state issue, as do I.

This doesn't change the fact that they were overwhelmingly secular.

Argue the point, if you know how.

    Hoggerel,

I have already argued the point. I posted quotes directly from them stating their views on Christianity.

Read and comprehend if you are able.

    Ever been to Cambridge?

If you're raised in Cambridge, are a local, have a 4.0 and a good school record, they'll let you into Harvard.

If you're not from Cambridge, you had better have some real ambition, an impeccable private school education, ridiculous community service/activism, and a whole lot of brains to stand a chance in applying to Harvard.

If your daddy is a senator and you're chasing political ambitions yourself, they will sure as hell let you into the ivy league with just above mediocre grades.

This isn't a conspiracy theory. This is the way that it is. Ask any East Coast college student. They will tell you about the selection processes of these "merit based" institutions.

I did, and from an educated perspective I refuted your concussions. Perhaps we agree to disagree on this topic. As it is, I find your quotes inconclusive.

Yeah... and Al Gore went to Harvard... where he took "Inventing the internet 101" and passed with flying colors.

    What's your point?

I thought you were done with me? And I thought you said "acting like a 12 year old" wasn't your style??

    Oh that's right, I forgot. You're a liberal. Therefore, you're a liar AND a hypocrite.

    My bad.

We weren't discussing Gore. Stop polarizing the issues, it's solving nothing. Again, you can prove nothing of substance.
