Last week an esteemed former Democratic presidential nominee and sitting member of the U.S. Senate, took the latest juvenile potshot at Gov. Palin. After hearing that South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford had gone missing for several days to have a rendezvous with his Argentine mistress, Sen. John Kerry remarked to a group of businessmen, “Too bad if a governor had to go missing it couldn’t have been the governor of Alaska. You know, Sarah Palin.” What a guy! It’s too bad he didn’t go missing in Vietnam where he could have had long conversations with Sen. John McCain."

Seriously. Telling you that your photo is faked, which it is, is not the same as supporting John Kerry or being "pissed" at you.

Photos aside.

Kerry was arguably traitorous because of the way he stabbed his fellow soldiers in the back after he used that nice and convenient litlle policy abou three purple hearts to bale out of Vietnam without completing his tour of duty. Now I am not going to blame him all that much for getting out of that charlie fox of a war where our politicians didn't let our armed forces do their job and win that war out of fear of pissing China off.

But what he did when he came back was inexcusable and undeniable. are are you going to tell me that that televised congressional "testimony" I watched on TV and you can still find on youtube was somehow faked? I have friends who fought there. And to a man they are still mad at Kerry over the massive lies he told that day. The great service the Swift boat veterans did for this country was to remind all those vets that a traitor who'd stabbed them in the back was within an inch of occupying the office of the presidency.

That, not the supposed "lies' of the swft boat folks was what caused Kerry to crash and burn. And he deserved it.
