Colin Powell, one of President Obama's most prominent Republican supporters, expressed concern Friday that the president's ambitious blitz of costly initiatives may be enlarging the size of government and the federal debt too much.
"I'm concerned at the number of programs that are being presented, the bills associated with these programs and the additional government that will be needed to execute them," Mr. Powell said in an excerpt of an interview with CNN's John King, released by the network Friday morning."that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth. Maybe that traitor should have thought about that before he voted for that Communist Obama.
I can't believe he has the gall to even say that after abandoning his own party and his self described "ideal candidate John McCain" to vote for the reincarnation of Hitler.

I can't imagine why a truly moderate would vote for Obama. I can see them voting for McCain, but never Obama.

Powell should've thought about this before not only voting for Obama, but endorsing him as well. This is just Powell grandstanding I think.

Powell is a follower of public opinion and he's seeing the tide roll away from Obama. Just trying to keep himself relevant and a member of the "insiders".
