The media loved McCain when he was running against Bush...just like this year when the media supported 'Rudy McRomney'...they will support the liberal Republicans over the conservative Republicans everytime. It wouldn't have mattered if McCain had picked your hero Mitt Romney, the governor of the state that votes in Kerry, Kennedy and Barney Frank, as soon as the primary was over and he was up against Obama, they would have threw him under the bus.
Palin was the reason conservatives jumped on McCain's ticket...there was no leadership from Romney or McCain before or after the election.
For as much as you hack on Sarah Palin, I am suprised you haven't been invited on Keith Olbermann's show."You see, in this world, there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig." -The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

Good points. I think the main reason why they loved McCain before he was the front runner for president is he was Bush's biggest critic with an R behind his name. The media loves you if you hate Bush. It doesn't matter the topic. Hell you could have just been a no name Republican from some town of 6 people and said "Bush sucks" and be books for Meet the Press, Larry King is (shockingly still a)Live, Kieth O, Bill Mahar and had a front page op ed in the NY Times. lol It was almost laughable how trendy it became to hate Bush.
