Spin off:

In my thread about RNC donations funding abortions members mentioned that they did not donate to the GOP.

So, it got me thinking...how many members of the Republican Operative actually donate to the republican party?

Probably not very many.

Political parties don't get their donations from individuals, they get it from large PACs, law firms and foreign terrorists.

Well, at least ubama gets it from foreign terrorists.

Any donations from individuals comes from companies submitting money with a false address, like the shack in san fransisco that donated $5000 to hillary clintoon.

No. And I never will.

I don't give money to politicians, why? Something along the lines of them not doing their job until after receiving donations if at all. I mean I wouldn't tip a waitress for not doing her job, so why should I donate any money to a politician?

If I give money, it's too grassroots causes, individuals and politically motivated organizations like the NRA and such. Giving to a party seems to be inefficient.

In the last 10 years I have only donated to individual campaigns.
Until I am convinced that the GOP is serious about stepping on the RINO's necks and removing their influence they will not get a dime from me again.

Scozzafava is a great example of what the national GOP leaders will spend money on if you give it to them.

I won't vote for a RINO again, with my dollars or my my ballot.

The money game in politics is out of control. Congressmen(and women) get about 170,000/year for their services. I refuse to give them a dime so they can spend millions getting elected to a 170,000/year job.

I will never donate to the Republican party. I get junk mail from them all the time and 99% it goes right in the trash can. Can't support a party which has gotten away from the Reagan conservative values, the values which drew me in.
