i've been thinking...actually i was getting ready to go shopping and The Incredible Shrinking Woman came on....i didn't bother to turn...too busy, so i get to hear part of this movie. The part where certain persons wanted to shrink ALL the population of the world and thereby the giants rule it. Our politicians haven't gotten that far...i hope...but they're getting close.

Politicians are crazy. OURs in particular. They didn't used to be....or maybe some were but the majority were not. That's changed. The majority of our politicians ARE crazy but WE the people are not. Okay some of us here ARE as crazy as these politicians as evidenced by some of the posts.

These guys think they are sane and reasonable. They really do. And they honestly think that WE are the crazy ones because we don't want to be taken care of and we don't see the goodness in government running everything under the magnanimous Barry O.

Their ideas are nuts and those ideas will be the death of us first and later on THEM. But they don't see that. Moran is probably one of the craziest.

Here's my take on this: He's saying, "It's un-American to hold people indefinitely without a trial." Okay, here's where he's right: American citizens cannot be held indefinitely without trial. Here's where he's wrong: These guys *aren't* American citizens!

I'd love to see these pointy-headed politicians start wringing their hands over how some of their favorite "allies" handle criminals. Like the guy in Saudi Arabia who is going to be beheaded and crucified for child molestation (and no, I don't think there's anything wrong with that punishment either). Let's see how they handle people getting picked up on the street in Iran, supposedly for theft, and being left in a prison for decades with no trial.

'Course they probably wish they could take the Iraqi method of dealing with political opponents but won't say it out loud.
