An overlooked story in November of 2007 shows that the T. Boone Pickens plan involves the private control of water, which Pickens wants to be able to sell to big cities via giant water pipelines which will be built on land seized under eminent domain...................

Pickens needs money and he has not been able to find investors to pay for a $110 Billion Bond he wants his new “water authority” to issue, therefore he is piggy-backing the windmill plan on to the water infrastructure development plan to use the money obtained for the wind farms in order to pay for the water infrastructure, which was his original goal.

Nevermind that they help manipulate the market via supply to triple the price of oil so that 8.5% is 3x higher. And that it's killing the American economy.

What about the percentages of federal and state taxes on gas? Where is the outrage over those "windfall" profits?

At least they are SUPPOSED to go to roads. In PA they go to public transportation.

Lets hope that redirection of money does NOT lead to a bridge collapse.


Maybe Minnesota did not have bridge engineers?????

WASHINGTON — Investigators said Monday that the Interstate 35W bridge in Minneapolis, which collapsed into the Mississippi River on Aug. 1, killing 13, came down because of a flaw in its design.

The designers had specified a metal plate that was too thin to serve as a junction of several girders, investigators say.

The bridge was designed in the 1960s and lasted 40 years.

But like most other bridges, it gradually gained weight during that period, as workers installed concrete structures to separate eastbound and westbound lanes and made other changes, adding strain to the weak spot. At the time of the collapse, crews had brought tons of equipment and material onto the deck for a repair job.
