Jim Johnson, Fannie, and Obama
I don't know why Obama is attempting to link or how he thinks he can successfullly link the Wallstreet scandal to the Republicans, thus, the McCain ticket. Obama's top campaign advisor, Jim Johnson was a Fannie Mae CEO who received millions of dollars in accounting manipulations and sweetheart mortgage deals. Hopefully, it will come back to bite him, but it will take the McCain camp exposing this and harping on it.
Finally, they are starting to come out with some campaign ads on this and McCain is starting to address the issue in his campaign speeches. It's about time!Last edited by Right Wing; 09-19-2008 at 12:56 PM.

Well, the Washington Post has since repudiated their statement that Raines gave Obama advice. I'll give you this much, the Washington post is looking pretty silly. They've directly stated that they do not use reliable sources for their reporting, and that the stories they print indeed cannot be relied upon to be factual. And they still haven't issued a retraction.

Dennis Prager was saying on the radio this morning, that Obama is the single largest recipient, from year to year, of special interest contributions from Fannie Mae. Talk about hypocrisy. Obama acts like he is the only way out of this mess. He helped us get in it, and his answer is that he is going to raise taxes...during a recession.

Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day
Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime
Tell Obama about fishing, he'll tax 58 states for having rivers
Science and religion are both about God's creation. Science interprets what, religion interprets why.
