Eternal Youth, Explain This
16-Year-Old Who is Infant Sized Stuns Medical Experts | ChattahBox News Blog
June 24, 2009 US (ChattahBox) - Doctors all over the world are intrigued by the case of a sixteen year old girl who is the size of an infant, and is showing no signs of growing any larger. Brooke Greenberg has the mental development of a toddler, the bone development of a ten year old, and weighs approximately 16 pounds. Despite all of this, she has shown an unbelievable resilience that has left doctors stunned. Brooke has had seven surgeries for perforated ulcers in the stomach, has had a stroke that caused no discernible brain damage, and had a tumor that left her in a 2 week coma, from which she suddenly woke up, and the tumor disappeared. She has been perfectly healthy (in a relative sense) ever since. These are just a few details in the incredible mystery of this teenage girl, who doctors are at a loss to explain. “Many of the best-known names in medicine, in their experience, had not seen anyone who matched up to Brooke. She is always a surprise, ” her pediatrician, Dr. Lawrence Pakula, was quoted in an ABC report. Perhaps what is most fascinating about Brooke is the fact that no developmental or genetic disorder has explained her strange situation, nor have any treatments usually used in age-related diseases. Years ago they tried various hormone therapies, but saw no results. In the meantime, Brooke is the truest example of the fountain of youth, as she lives her life in a neverending childhood that physicians are unable to explain.

There is something seriously wrong here...mentally and physically. It's not a promise of eternal youth. Do you know the story in mythology about the woman who wanted to never die. Well she didn't. She wanted to because she was aging and aging...with no comfort of death. She should have wished for eternal youth. It's not there.

Ok here's what I think. Doesn't this seem odd to you? I read a book a while back that was a book on genetics. There was basically a war going on between the government and an individual over the individual's genes. In the book it mentioned genetic experimentation that would cause people not to age. My question is; how exactly was young Brooke conceived? This could be one of God's wonders and then again it could one of Mankind's stupidities.
Just something to think about.
