odd display on My Mac
I have no idea what may be causing the odd display of such items as these blocks of color on my mac

They are intermittent, and "dissappear" when I make any "mouse gestures"

People say "get Firefox" because for some reason, they hate Microsoft so much.
People, if MS were so bad, why does it have such a huge market share ?. If they make a crappy product, then it won't sell.
Apples are great for many things (graphic & such). PC's are good for other things.

After the Reboot the problems have disappeared.
I'd not shut down the machine for nearly a month and I'm told that rebooting occasionally is contrary to Mac Myth a good thing
Thank you.

Yeah. First step to solving anything is a restart. I've never seen a Mac do that though, and I've used both platforms for many years.
Susanna, get Firefox! ;)

Yeah, it looked like a memory corruption type thing. It's been 10-15 years since I last dealt with a Mac, but it did seem they were more prone to data corruption than PC's. (I.E. non-repeatable errors)
