My threads and replys are not displaying. Anybody have an idea what might be causing this malady?

Having an awful time logging in. I see these replys this time though. I System Restored back four days. Don't know if it will work or not. When I was logging in I had to go to the 'forums' page to let me in.

hmm, I see. So the posts were not showing up as new in new posts? That has to do with the change in the way new posts are shown.

I can switch it back if you guys want. The reason I did it that way, was because it is a little more exact. The other way, was just a cookie that would expire after about 15 minutes. So if you were reading an extra long post, and went to check new posts, then there would be none. The way it is now, the new post would still be there.

So, in your case it doesn't mean they have disappeared, if you go directly to the posts ie, category>subforum>post it should still be there.

No, no, no, don't change it back! I hate it when I lose my highlights, and I never use the new posts function.

I found the glitch. In order to save disk space, I removed the browser's ability to save internet pages for faster viewing. This had a direct effect on navigating the RO site. I restored this feature, and it appears to be the source of the problem.
