    If you get this event ID, then your affected and your being hard-limited.
    EventID 4226: TCP/IP has reached the security limit imposed on the number of concurrent TCP connect attempts

    This was already done on my home computer. Such modifications are not allowed on work related equipment however.

    Vista is a hog

    the first thing I did with the new comp was remove vista and install XP


    if I change to anything else , it wont be a MS system

    I am running a system with over 2 gig of RAM, and Vista was still laggy.

    The first thing I did was turn off User Access Control. Improved things dramatically.
