Short version is that Sarah (in my sig, and whose memorial is in Site Announcements) and I were chatting online one night (I don't remember what about, but it was almost certainly sci-fi), and she made some offhand casual comment about giant intelligent clams. I took it and ran with it.

She denies the Magnaclams (may their neutronium shells shine in splendor forever) out a sense of insecurity. Poor woman...

I wouldn't say I "dislike" them. I simply know that they don't exist so I don't play into FC's fantasy that they do exist. It's not healthy for a grown man to believe in such fantasies. Yes, I know his name is Fantasy Chaser, but there comes a time when a reasonable adult has to stop the insanity.
Oh, and I don't bow down to any powers that be other than God Himself.

We all know Santa is real. What are you talking about?
He's at least more real than the magnas.

You are doomed acording to FC then. If you believe and respect FC then you believe and respect his little magnas and will be forced to bow down to them.
 Good Luck.

Well. I will be doomed then.
The #2 Pearl. HAHAHAHA.
Cuz if that is the way it is... my heart is already and has already been one hundred percent loyal to my Father Above!
I won't be bowing down to any Magnas.
Didn't know about that.
The end.

They don't require worship; just a little leap-year groveling. Probably only on Federal holidays, but I haven't gotten the memo on that yet.
Anyway, there need not be a conflict. It's common knowledge that there were some less-than-precise translations of the King James version of the Bible. In Mathew chapter two, "magi" should read "Magnas." They followed the star from the east, clutching in their tractor beams gifts of gold, frankincense, myrrh, and donuts. Don't know how that last one got omitted...
