– A Michigan mother proudly shared video of her 9-year-old son with cerebral palsy trying to stand for the national anthem.
Logan doesn’t walk without the aid of medical equipment, said his mother, Rebecca Wilson of Chesterfield, Michigan, but he does crawl, and he loves his sports and his national anthem.
On this day, while watching a game they recorded on the DVR, Wilson noticed her son trying to stand for the national anthem in their living room and decided to record it. “He always takes off his hat,” she said, “but until yesterday I never really saw him try to stand. He just knew that is what we do to show respect to our country and everyone who fights so hard for us. He is truly just an amazing kid just doing what he loves,” she said.
Here we have a young man who has real problems trying to stand up as opposed to those who do not appreciate what they have been given and trying to claim some sort of disadvantage and hate for this nation.
