Christmas Lights

#1

Those of you who are planning to place Christmas lights/decorations in your yards, can you please avoid anything that is red or blue and flashing?

Every time I drive by, I think it’s the police and have a panic attack

I have to take my foot off the accelerator, toss my beer, fasten my seat belt, throw my phone on the floor, turn my radio down and put my clothes back on.

It’s too much drama.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

I do red white and blue flags drawn in lights, simple enough. I never spend more than an hour putting them up and taking them down.

We have a big rock out front that was uncovered when the house was being built:

We named it “Dave” (No, not “Pappadave”).

Every Christmas, we put lights on Dave:

Selfie video forthcoming?

#5

The only flashing lights I have a white.

#6

Is it as old as Dave?

#7

Cute! My jumps every time I hear the ambulances go by, I think they’re coming for me again.

#8

Hardly likely, NJC.

#9

We have some blue lights, (came with the LED strings), none flashing, but it’s all inside the house, anyway.

The house is seventeen years old (built in 2000).

How long Dave was in the ground before he was uncovered, I have no idea . . . but I suspect it was a long long time.
