Jean-Marc Ayrault’s outburst came after France’s best-known actor, Gerard Dépardieu, took up legal residence in a small village just over the border in Belgium, alongside hundreds of other wealthy French nationals seeking lower taxes.

“Those who are seeking exile abroad are not those who are scared of becoming poor,” the prime minister declared after unveiling sweeping anti-poverty measures to help those hit by the economic crisis.

These individuals are leaving “because they want to get even richer,” he said. “We cannot fight poverty if those with the most, and sometimes with a lot, do not show solidarity and a bit of generosity,” he added. “Rich” people aren’t staying in France so the government can steal what they earned? How selfish and greedy! Who’d have seen this one coming?

Talked again to my buddy and his wife. They fly out to Costa Rica Sat to find their new home and they are taking somewhere between $10-$14 Million with them when they leave. They are liquidating now and expect the move to be complete by the end of 2013.

He said he worked hard all his life, coming from a poor family to amass his money and he is NOT going to let some communist socialist bastard steal it from him. I know him well and he is as conservative as them come, a war veteran, in fact a real hero and he is mentioned in several books and some movies about his battles. A TRUE patriot, but he no longer sees America as the country he grew up in and fought for…

17O please tell your [sarcasm] greedy [/sarcasm] friend my thank you, both for his service and for taking his wealth where Obama will have difficulty stealing it.

Just got a note from another buddy in DC, he too is looking at cashing in and head out. Costa Rica seems to be the hot spot as he is going down in Jan. I think we are going to see a lot of this. Lots of folks at retireing and cash out and head out, CoL is cheaper and Obama is not there.

We have a place in England but the CoL is insane over there, not warm enough for me…

Why is it greedy to want to keep your money but not greedy to want to take the money of another?
