I’ve purt near earned a 10% share in Harbor Freight by now!

My favorite tool company though, which is cost saving for what ya’ get, is Grizzly Tools, hands down. Sure, they’re pricier than HF, but Grizzly’s stuff is second to NONE in quality (almost everything is manufactured in China, but to ultra-strict U.S. manufacturing standards). If you need “serious” tools – especially large, shop tools – they’ll always be my first choice. Frankly, thier stuff is better (sometimes even much better) than the name brand competitors and for literally half the price. Get thier catalog and commence to droolin’!

Forgot about Grizzly… we purchased one of their tablesaws for the Rubber and Plastics shop in Groton

Northern Tools is a great one too EE. I’ve placed several orders with them; most recently a great sausage stuffer. They’re like Harbor Freights in that once you’re on thier mailing list, you’ll get about a catalog a month (or more) from 'em.
Now there was a show I liked. I was not enamored so much when they went to a big building and it looked like more of an automotive shop.

Home Improvement and Remodeling: This Old House
I like This Old House as well as Ask this old House.

Yep, just about the best thing to watch on a Saturday morning!

I got tired of it because some of the stuff was not practical for other areas of the country and as an Architect I would question some of the practices involved. Also network budgets lent for solutions the mr and mrs America could not do.
I feel the same about the landscape shows where I see a crew come in and redesign someone’s landscape and while it looks good after, the care and upkeep would be enormous or in some cases I know the owners will care for the lawn the same way they cared for it before; in other words no care at all.
