Huckabee blasts Romney: 'Makes me sick' that you could have been president

Mitt Romney is more critical, and more often, of Trump than he ever was of Obama.

Huckabee said exactly what had to be said, calling Romney out on his treachery, arrogance and dishonesty.

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee ® blasted Sen. Mitt Romney on Friday after the Utah Republican said he was “sickened” by President Trump’s actions in the Mueller report.

Huckabee, an ally of Trump who is also the father of White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, pushed back hours after the Utah senator blasted the “dishonesty and misdirection” described in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.

“I am sickened at the extent and pervasiveness of dishonesty and misdirection by individuals in the highest office of the land, including the President,” Romney said in a statement posted to Twitter.

“I am appalled that, among other things, fellow citizens working in a campaign for president welcomed help from Russia — including information that had been illegally obtained; that none of them acted to inform American law enforcement,” he wrote.

It makes very sad that I went out into the Florida heat to knock on doors for Romney. He will probably vote for the Democratic nominee in the next election. He is a total ingrate. What does he think he is going to get out this except condemnation from any real Republican.

I don’t know, but maybe cash under the table?

I’m sure that you have noticed, there is a UGE internal struggle in BOTH political parties. There will be some re-alignment. It could take a few years for it all to shake out. Romney, Kasich, Bush, have no future in the GOP but while they don’t fit in with the Democrat party of AOC they could fit in with the Democrat party of Nancy Pelosi. Nancy is political not ideological, she may spout some far left ideas here and there but she is not a True Believer. As of today, Romney&Co. have no “home” and history has shown that 3rd parties are a dead end street except as possible spoilers. The democrat hold of some groups is fracturing: blacks, Hispanics, gays, unions (non-governmental workers).
