I Am Now A Grandpa!

#1

At 1:02 A.M. my daughter made me an official Old Fart by ushering this perfect little girl.
Little Kaylee was born 6 pounds 7 ounces and 19 inches long. Mother and Baby are both doing well but not as well as Grandpa!

#2

Congratulations, how does it feel to be a grandfather?

#3

Congrats, old man!

Thanks everybody!
We just got home, the hospital won’t let my daughter go home till tomorrow since technically my Granddaughter was born today (1:02 A.M.). Have to wait till tomorrow to get some non hospital room pictures I guess, everybody in my address book is probably tired of the clinical ones I have been bombarding them with!

[/quote]Being a grandfather several times over myself it is always a pleasure to see a new one arrive. I just had one do so recently. I remember being in the room when the baby’s mother was being born. I was so nervous. I went to Lamaze classes and I remember other males there who attended the first one and never came back for any of the rest. It was soon after there was a segment on TV about child birth which was rather innovative for that time period.

19?? My wife was born

Cool trivia, I’ll share with her

#14

GOD BLESS to Mom, Daughter and GRANDPA!!! Welcome to the CLUB!!

I’ve long thought that I ought to do an image of a Clam in a baby bonnet…

I became a great uncle two months before I turned 38…

#16

Congratulations, Grandpa! - And Grandma, too!
Best wishes to Mom, Dad, and all loved ones.
Kaylee is absolutely gorgeous!!!

(No feeling in the world like it, is there?)

Great News, RET. I am proud of you.
Now the fun begins. You HAD to say “NO!” when you were a Dad, but you GET to say “OK” when you become Gramps. And, spoiling their kids, is our revenge.
Congratulations, again.

#18

That is great new. Congratulations!
