New DA candidate in Suffolk County Massachusetts will ignore many laws

Rachael Rollins, who recently won the Democratic primary for District Attorney in Suffolk County (Boston) has announced that she is not going to prosecute criminals for many crimes. Among the new “get out of jail free cards” in Ms. Rollins arsenal are shoplifting, breaking and entering unoccupied properties, drug dealing and resisting arrest. She has received the full endorsement of Massachusetts Senator, Elizabeth Warren.

This is one more example of the “Eric Holder School of Criminal Justice.” As the Attorney General or District Attorney, you need only prosecute those laws with which you agree. In other words, the opinions of the DA trump the will of the State Legislators. This is one more example of the left’s efforts to get soft on crime, and shows a wanton disregard for public safety.
