No Time for Tea Partiers to Retreat

#1

Saturday’s tragic shooting in Tucson, Arizona has given the Progressive-Liberal-Statists their best shot at turning the public against the Tea Party; and they have wasted no time. The Senate’s No. 2 Democrat, Dick Durbin, quickly accused Gov. Sarah Palin of “toxic rhetoric.”
The truth is, to the Left, the Tea Party is “toxic” because it has exposed their radical agenda. Thanks to the Tea Party we do not have the government selling health insurance, further redistribution of wealth through higher taxation, and more debt through the earmark loaded omnibus bill.

Illinois Review: No Time for Tea Partiers to Retreat

With all the rhetoric about Palin’s bullseye and failing to mention the democrats did the same thing, the democrats are in full throat to rewrite history as to who promotes violence.

Obama on down have engaged in speaking in terms that were aimed at demonetizing republicans from words to images of firing guns at their enemies.

With this sad event that killed across party lines by a demented guy who was viewed by his friends and people around him as a left wing kind of strange guy. He was dismissed from his volunteering to walk dogs because he refused to walk the animals where he was told.

None of this matters to those bent on hating those they oppose and who still claim this guy was some rightwing stooge. This has brought out yet more democrats wanting to restrict speech they dislike and even to want to make it a crime to speak up about a politician who could find it offensive.

Shades of Nazism are envisioned and examples of those the government dislikes by such as Chávez who are rounded up are closer to reality if Americans allow our government to do this.

What kills me is that guy was a leftist, and was not a tea partier.

This is not just the ‘tea partiers’, but ANYBODY who has just comments about the state of affairs with government as they see them. Whether one is liberal or conservative, socialist or constitutional, the move is afoot to curtail ANY extreme rhetoric, to bring a halt to talk radio especially Rush Limbaugh, to bring closer scrutiny to Fox network, and it’s personalities.
But this also points out a movement to bring anyone who acts abnormally to a public scrutiny. Every town or community has at least one person who doesn’t fit into the living norms of the general populace. Do we now incarcerate every one who has a mental illness?

Very true, and just like the left to take advantage of a tragedy to promote their political agenda.

GOP Rep. Will Introduce New Strict Gun Law | The Blaze

This guy needs to be removed from the GOP, and his chair in congress.

Rep. Peter King (R-NY), who has generally been supportive of gun control measures, announced the new legislation alongside strong anti-gun New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Not surprisingly, the legislation, which will be introduced in the upcoming weeks, got Bloomberg’s stamp of approval.

He’s from New York…No one in New York supports gun rights.

You guys make it sound like it’s about ideology. It’s not, it’s about partisanship.

I mean, I wouldn’t support the bill, and am not defending this congressman…but…yea.

I like Peter King on a lot of other issues, but he is VERY wrong on this issue.

Once again: The guy was very paranoid and distrustful of the federal government. He said that people don’t have to give into federal laws. He also read Fahrenheit 451 and Brave New World (anti-communist), books that warned of big Government. If you’re going to claim leftists love big government and want the feds to control their lives, you don’t get to back on it when something like this happens.

It was neither sides fault, and as usual, Jon Stewart had the most reasonable thing to say:
