Pig Roast at Vikings place this Saturday

In commemoration of my 25th Wedding anniversary, my wife and I are having a pig roast / bbq this Saturday.

Just bought 6 bags of charcoal briquettes. I’m picking up the pig (100lbs) this Friday evening. My dad has made 60 assorted bottles of wine, and I’m going to help my bride make the salads this Friday.

I’ll need to post some pictures of Porky McSwine as he is slowly roasted.

Oh, and any member of RO in the area is welcome to attend.

Infidel! You should roast a goat instead!

(I’d drop in, but it’s a bit of a trip up there for me…)

congratulations to the Vikings on their 25 years of marriage!

Hmm, that comment reminds me of what I was going to name Porky.

Viking, be sure to invite P.E.T.A. over so they can watch as you grill one of their gods.

My answer:
Because dogs are man’s best friend.
Pigs taste good.
Cow’s leather makes a warm durable coat.

Cheers & Happy Grilling.

PS
Happy 25th Anniversary and may you have many more.

Congrats on the anniversary!

25 years ?

Mere puppies.

Wait till you slug it out,…uh…I mean…live in bliss for 40 years. :zombie:

Don’t forget to save the ears for the dog.

.

Wait people stay married? When did this start?

Seriously though congratulations!

Wow! You must have gotten married only a few months after my parents did!

Congratulations! What’s your secret?

BTW, was the pig named Mohammed? That’s just cruel. XD

Always tell the truth. I learned that the hard way.

At first, yes. Now he will be christened Porky McSwine.

Oh. That seems like good advice. Your pig is a boar? Do male pigs get bigger than females?

Silly me, I thought 25 years was silver. Pork products do work much better in my book. Grats on a quarter century!

Congrats EV. many happy returns to you and Mrs. Viking

Hmm, I like that idea. 25 years married is Pork. What would 50 years be ?. AAA Beef ?.

HA!! I’m going to start calling her that.

Seriously, thanks for all of the best wishes. I really would have welcomed any RO members who could have made it.

So the question of the day is" who is going to ham it up the most at the party?"

I think we all know the answer to that.

Mmmmmm…Pork.
