Robert Conrad, star of 'The Wild, Wild West,' dies at 84

I met and became a life long friend of his back in 1978.

I was managing a beach front piano bar/restaurant for a high school buddy in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
(The Sly Fox on the Galt Ocean Mile)

Bob use to visit whenever he was in town and we’d sit and talk til closing.

Sometimes we would go out ‘bar hopping’ after I closed our place.

He was a fun guy but quick to anger.

I will miss him.

I am sorry to here this. I watched the “Wild, Wild West” series on DVD over the last year. He did most of his stunts, sometimes to his detriment.

Rhode Island Senator, John Pastorie, played a part in ending that series because he said it was too violent.

I loved the Wild Wild West, I never saw Hawaiian eye; but my favorite from Bob Conrad was Baa Baa Black Sheep (my favorite show in the 70’s)

Rest in peace Mr. Conrad.
