Sanders Fundraises Off Arizona Murders

There has been no shortage of individuals and institutions that have sought to capitalize on the shootings in Tucson. Add Vermont senator Bernie Sanders to that list.
This afternoon Sanders sent out a fundraising appeal, seeking to raise money to fight Republicans and other “right-wing reactionaries” responsible for the climate that led to the shooting.

The democrats are playing this sad event for all it is worth and while they focus on the one representative they exclude the other victims so they can make money and political points off this.

Never mind that others were shot, including a republican judge for all intents and purposes this is gift wrapped chance to replenish coffers and to blame their opponents for the actions of a disturbed individual.

As in the past, it has been clear that facts have no bearing when it comes to playing this game of demonizing republicans.

Very poor taste. I hope he loses his next election.

Adds more and more credence to my previous statement that the democrats planned all of this from the beginning.

The guy may even be set free somewhere, maybe in your neighborhood. We don’t know what really happens to them after they go to prison or “get put to death” and being friends with the commies probably has its advantages.

They 100% did this to try to make the republicans lose their momentum because they don’t know what else to do at this point.

Quite frankly, if someone were going to make a politically motivated hit, they’d pick a full on socialist democrat instead of someone who occasionally isn’t

It always astounds me when someone tries to credit the LEAST effective, least organized, party with these elaborate conspiracies. It’s like accusing your 2 year old of secretly finishing someone’s calculus homework.

I suppose, if raw sewage and decomposing viscera on bread covered with toxic mold are said to be “not particularly appetizing”, then yeah, on that scale, “very poor taste” would be an appropriate descriptor…

Individual malice and opportunism are a sufficient explanation, absent actual evidence of conspiracy before the shooting. I think I previously described that conspiracy theory as:

The passing of several days has not, IMO, made that any less apt.
