SEE: Phil Murphy signs bill to let unauthorized immigrants get college financial aid

May 9, 2018

”A New Jersey college student’s immigration status will no longer play a factor into whether that student is eligible for certain in-state financial aid.” Jersey’s Socialist Governor Murphy went on to say “This is the world’s melting pot where people in every part of the globe can come here in the hope of a new life"

It is absolutely stunning that the force of government taxation has been so perverted these days by our Nation’s Fifth Column Socialists that it now violates the very purpose for which a just and equal government is created.

“Under a just and equal Government, every individual is entitled to protection in the enjoyment of the whole product of his labor, except such portion of it as is necessary to enable Government to protect the rest; this is given only in consideration of the protection offered. In every bounty, exclusive right, or monopoly, Government violates the stipulation on her part; for, by such a regulation, the product of one man’s labor is transferred to the use and enjoyment of another. The exercise of such a right on the part of Government can be justified on no other principle, than that the whole product of the labor or every individual is the real property of Government, and may be distributed among the several parts of the community by government discretion; such a supposition would directly involve the idea, that every individual in the community is merely a slave and bondsman to Government, who, although he may labor, is not to expect protection in the product of his labor. An authority given to any Government to exercise such a principle, would lead to a complete system of tyranny.” ___ See Representative Giles, speaking before Congress February 3rd, 1792

JWK

“To lay with one hand the power of the government on the property of the citizen [a working person’s earned wage] and with the other to bestow upon favored individuals, [the poverty stricken populations of countries who have invaded America’s borders], to aid private enterprises and build up private fortunes, is none the less a robbery because it is done under forms of law and called taxation.”____ Savings and Loan Association v.Topeka,(1875).

I’m not for this policy, but I’d like to point out: Rick Perry did this in Texas years ago. This isn’t behavior unique to Democrats or “socialists”, or even people who take less issue with illegal aliens.

#3

You’ll note that Rick Perry’s presidential aspirations went nowhere, too. At least PARTLY, this stupidity was responsible.

#4

I think the taxpayers should have a say in this. I think the taxpayers should have a vote on this item. Just taxpayers.

New Jersey Has the Worst Finances in the Nation, Report Says

09/20/17

"New Jersey is nearly $209 billion in debt and has the worst finances of any state in the nation, according to a report released Tuesday.

Truth in Accounting, a think tank that analyzes government finances, ranked all 50 states based on their debt per taxpayer. The group’s latest report said New Jersey taxpayers carry $67,200 each in debt, a burden has almost doubled since 2013, when it was $36,000 per taxpayer."

New Jersey is in a state of socialist, sanctuary city financial ruin and yet, the socialist government decides to pay for illegal entrants college tuition.

The citizens of New Jersey need to start draining the swamp in Trenton and free themselves from the iron fist of its socialist/communist and progressive government!

JWK

The citizens of New Jersey are sick and tired of being made into tax-slaves to finance a maternity ward for the poverty stricken populations of other countries who invade New Jersey’s borders to give birth.

#6

A totally irrelevant point stoking the flame of political partisanship.

The “behavior” is not condemned for what it is really is ___ tax-slavery imposed by the hand of government to benefit the economic needs of foreigners at the expense of American Citizens.

JWK

American citizens are sick and tired of being made into tax-slaves to finance the economic needs of millions of poverty stricken, poorly educated, low and unskilled aliens who have invaded America’s borders.

#7

No; Republican Governors doing it is relevant. You can’t say it matters only when the other side does it, that’s hypocritical.

#8

Only to those wishing to stoke the flames of political partisanship in order to take the spotlight off American Citizens being made into tax slaves for the benefit of illegal entrants and their children.

#9

By pointing out that both sides are to blame? Bi-partisan awfulness?

#10

:roll_eyes::

#11

no-pity

Not my fault your words contradict.

#12

Only to those wishing to stoke the flames of political partisanship.

Another unsubstantiated assertion from you.

#13

In pointing out both sides are to blame, partisanship is confusing as a counter John.

We should be agreeing here for once. Pull your head out of your rear, you’d notice that.

#14

Which has nothing to do with the current Governor turning NJ citizens into tax slaves to benefit illegal entrants.

#15

Despite that it’s current Texan policy doing the same thing, in Texas?

#16

The subject of the thread is Socialist Gov. Murphy turns NJ citizens into tax slaves to benefit illegal entrants

We are not talking about Texas . . .

#17

So why don’t you just say “yes, them doing that is wrong too”, and let it drop?

That’s what you should have done; either that or not responded.

#18

Well, aren’t you the cute one? Telling me what I “should have done” after you decide to switch the subject to Texas and its Governor.

#19

lol, so JWK, would you respond and agree with AS’s statement if it were in another thread labeled “Socialist Texas Gov. Rick Perry turned Texans into tax slaves to benefit illegal entrants”?

Knowing you are happy to roast Republicans when you deem their actions unconstitutional, I would be surprised if not. PappaDave had no problem trashing Rick Perry for it. It’s bad in New Jersey, and it’s bad in Texas. It’s bad wherever this is being done. It makes that argument kind of absurd.

I think taxpayers shouldn’t be allowed to take our money at all, with or without a vote, for things that are properly outside the scope of government, which includes education and also paying tuition for illegals – and also paying tuition for anyone else. Looking in my copy of the Constitution to see where it says pay for tuition for illegals.

I dunno, maybe it’s New Jersey’s budget funding this (though mostly I think financial aid is federal). Wonder what New Jersey’s Constitution says about it.

#20

Yeah, because I wasn’t pursuing a topic with my statement, you made it one. You invited the very thing you didn’t want, because you felt prissy about protecting Gov. Perry for God knows what reason.
